I am Oishika. People sometimes call me Mishti. I am a senior at New York University majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. Before this, I finished my schooling from Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Kolkata. I love learning new mathematics concepts, and my favourite classes at NYU have been Honors Algebra, Algorithms, Theory of Probability! Currently, I am doing research with Professor Meyers, and Professor Grishman in detecting causal relations in texts. In my free time, I love to learn new instruments. I am learning the piano right now. I have been playing the guitar since age 10 and can play pretty much any Taylor Swift song! You can usually find me on the top floor of Courant near the piano.
